An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:
Pink/Cool
I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.

Neutral
I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.

Usage
Warm a pea size amount of balm between your ring fingers to melt into an oil
Gently apply from bridge of the nose to the outer eye
Allow the product to fully absorb before sleeping
Use morning and night
Use more generously at night to cocoon and comfort

Can be used as a salve on any dry patches, lips, or lightly over makeup to add a natural glow to high points of the face.
